Subject: Now hiring TAs for the 2026 ICPSR Summer Program
TAs needed for 2026 program
The ICPSR Summer Program is a big undertaking, and we can't do it alone!
Teaching assistants are a vital part of the our General Sessions, in preparation and execution of classes. Every year we hire more than 30 TAs to assist with classes ranging from introductory statistics to advanced quantitative techniques.
Working as an ICPSR Summer Program TA is more than a summer job. It’s an opportunity to join a global network of researchers, instructors, and scholars committed to advancing the social sciences through rigorous methods training. You’ll gain valuable teaching experience, deepen your methodological expertise, and make professional connections that last far beyond the summer.
Key responsibilities include:
-
Providing instructional and technical support to General Session instructors
-
Assisting participants with statistical software and course materials
-
Leading or supporting lab sessions and discussion sections
-
Helping manage hybrid learning environments (in-person and online)
-
Contributing to a collaborative, inclusive, and intellectually engaging learning experience
TAs earn $42.10/hour and will be expected to work 40 hours per week while their class is in session in Ann Arbor, MI. Sorry, but there are no remote TA positions.
For more information and to apply, please see our listing here. The posting is open January 5-February 1, 2026.
