Academia Sinica has Open Access (OA) publishing agreements with Cambridge University Press, which offers a waiver to the Article Processing Charge (APC) to support AS authors in increasing their research visibility and scholarly impact.
Requirements：

Academia Sinica-wide quota for free OA articles (APC waiver): 37 articles (2025); 38 articles (2026); 39 articles (2027). (The quota is allocated based on the order in which submissions are accepted.)

The corresponding author is affiliated with Academia Sinica. (When submitting, please select “Academia Sinica” as your institution or use an email address ending in “.sinica.edu.tw”.)
