Warm and Cozy Holiday Greetings from ICPSR!

As we reflect on 2025, we're deeply grateful for our ICPSR community, whose dedication to data fuels discoveries and advances our mission. Entering 2026, we remain committed to broadening access, inspiring breakthroughs, and supporting responsible data stewardship. We wish you a season filled with warmth, connection, and gratitude—and a new year of fresh data insights and meaningful collaboration.

Holiday Closing: Our offices and User Support will be closed from December 25, 2025, through January 1, 2026. Though we'll be away, the gift of data never stops! If finding a home for your data is on your wishlist, we'd be happy to help you prepare your deposit.

Representative of ICPSR: Madison Golden

Meet Madison, a Research Data Librarian at the University of Utah’s J. Willard Marriott Library who loves helping students discover the magic of ICPSR data. When she’s not nerding out about research datasets (or finding ancient fossils in her yard!), she’s out adventuring in the Salt Lake outdoors.

A smiling young woman, Madison Golden, takes a selfie with a smiling young man holding a small black and white dog on a hillside overlooking a valley and mountains at dusk. The text "Meet Madison Golden" and an ICPSR logo are also visible.

Q: What is your favorite part of working with ICPSR?

A: My favorite part has been showing students how to access and use ICPSR data to answer a research question, especially students who hadn’t heard of ICPSR prior.

Full interview: Get to know more about Madison Golden!
