rights amendment that enshrines fundamental commitment to
providing proper supports to women and girl-children ought to be
enacted. Beyond these broad-base societal supports, at the
individual level of private citizens, a widespread view seems to be
that everyone ought to have sufficient room to develop him- or her-
self without interference from governments or others, including
having time off for personal friendship and romantic love which
can serve to reduce mutual suspicion, distrust, and tendency toward
violence.
