have been invited to serve as consultants. As of now, a majority of the members of the editorial board are scholars outside of the IEAS. Editorial board meetings are held on a regular basis, during which members participate in discussions on how to maintain the high academic quality of the journal. As EurAmerica also accepts commissions for review and publication of books, it encourages IEAS researchers and scholars in Taiwan and abroad to contribute by publishing monographs or edited books. In particular, the IEAS hopes that our research colleagues would publish monographs related to European and American Studies and books series on thematic research projects to accumulate their research results and raise research standards. Doing so expands the IEAS’s influence in the related research fields and offers positive contributions to Taiwanese industry, government, and academia, as well as international academic communities. Our editorial department seeks further breakthroughs in the contents, and expand the scale and significance of the journal by putting together special issues and topical papers covering in-depth research and analysis of important issues. Furthermore, the IEAS invites prominent local and foreign scholars to serve as guest editors in order to attract more high-quality articles to be published in EurAmerica, making it an influential academic journal among the international academic communities. It is to be hoped that EurAmerica will continue to improve its academic standard in the future.
