Entry to the IEAS Library is suspended to all individuals who are not affiliated with the IEAS

In response to the recent confirmed COVID-19 infection in a laboratory at Academia Sinica, the IEAS Library is implementing the following precautionary measures beginning December 10, 2021 (Friday):

1.     All individuals who are not affiliated with the IEAS are suspended from entering the Library (including those holding an Inter-Library card).

2.     Academia Sinica colleagues may borrow books and access periodicals via email (library@gate.sinica.edu.tw <mailto:library@gate.sinica.edu.tw。> ), with the borrower’s name and affiliation, number of Academia Sinica ID card or library card, book’s title, author, call number, and barcode. You will be notified when the books are ready for pickup in the locker. The books will remain on reserve for 1 day and will return to the stacks after the expiry date, and a new request to borrow the books is required. Academia Sinica colleagues may also apply for periodical service and pickup via email.

3.     Please make use of the book drop when returning books.

4.     For individuals who are not affiliated with Academia Sinica, please use the Interlibrary Loan System (NDDS) <https://ndds.stpi.narl.org.tw/index>  to borrow books and access materials, and please avoid visiting the Library.
