The IEAS Library Opens to Academia Sinica Colleagues

In response to the slowdown of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that the epidemic alert to remain at Level 2 until September 6. The IEAS will gradually lower its alert level by opening the Library to Academia Sinica colleagues with AS ID beginning August 24 (Tuesday).

1. To enter the Library, we ask that Academia Sinica colleagues to please wear your AS ID. The stacks on 1F is off limits (not restricted to IEAS colleagues). When entering the Library, please wear a mask at all times, cooperate in having your temperature taken, and practice social distancing.

2. The Library will continue its book reservation and periodical service via email, and pickup service via the front desk and lockers to Academia Sinca colleagues. The books will remain on reserve for 1 day and will return to the stacks after the expiry date, and a new request to borrow the books is required.

3. Please make use of the book drop when returning books.

4. Individuals who are not affiliated with Academia Sinica will be temporarily suspended from entering the Library. Please use the Interlibrary Loan System (NDDS) at https://ndds.stpi.narl.org.tw/index to borrow books and access periodicals.
