The IEAS Library Opening to IEAS Colleagues

In response to the slowdown of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that it will lower the epidemic alert to Level 2, effective from July 27, 2021 to August 9, 2021. The IEAS will gradually lower its alert level by opening the Library to IEAS colleagues beginning July 27 (Tuesday) to August 9 (Monday).

1. IEAS colleagues are allowed to enter 1F of the Library, but the stacks on 1F, 2F, and 3F are temporarily off limits. The Library will continue its book reservation and periodical service via email, and pickup service via the front desk or lockers. When entering the Library, please cooperate in having your temperature taken. While inside the Library, please wear a mask and maintain social distancing at all times.

2. Academia Sinica colleagues who are not affiliated with the IEAS will be temporarily suspended from entering the Library. The Library will continue its book reservation and periodical service via email, and pickup service via lockers. The books will remain on reserve for 1 day and will return to the stacks after the expiry date, and a new request to borrow the books is required.

3. Please make use of the book drop when returning books.

4. Individuals who are not affiliated with Academia Sinica will be temporarily suspended from entering the Library. Please use the Interlibrary Loan System (NDDS) at https://ndds.stpi.narl.org.tw/index to borrow books and access periodicals.
