Beginning May 14, 2021 (Friday), entry to all libraries will be denied for individuals who are not affiliated with Academia Sinica
In response to recent developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the following restrictions and measures will be implemented by the IEAS Library beginning May 14, 2021 (Friday):

Individuals who are not affiliated with Academia Sinica will be denied entry to the Library (including those with Inter-Library card).

Individuals who are affiliated with Academia Sinica, please wear your Academia Sinica ID card or library card when entering the Library. Individuals who are not affiliated with the IEAS will be asked to fill out a health record form.

Please wear a mask and maintain social distancing at all times while inside the Library.

Please cooperate in having your body temperature measured before entering the Library. Individuals with temperature above 37.5°C (forehead) or 38°C (ear) are not allowed to enter. Those with symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, etc., please refrain from entering and seek medical attention immediately.

You are welcome to use the hand sanitizer available at the front desk.

Please make use of the book drop when returning books.

In accordance with Academia Sinica’s epidemic prevention policies, the Library will not be accepting applications for visits/guided tours for the time being.
