About the Journal
EurAmerica is published four times a year—in March, June, September and December—by the Institute of European and American Studies, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan. Academia Sinica, the “national academy of sciences” of Taiwan, has a history of over eighty years in promoting and undertaking scholarly research in the sciences and humanities. The Institute of European and American Studies, founded in 1974, is the home of a multidisciplinary team of researchers studying societies of Europe and the United States.
EurAmerica, an international peer-reviewed journal, publishes high quality empirical and multidisciplinary research on Europe and the United States, including literature, philosophy, history, sociology, political science, and legal studies. EurAmerica aims to establish a dialogue between scholars of different disciplinary backgrounds, with a goal to advance our knowledge of societies of Europe and the United States.
