EurAmerica
Introduction
About EurAmerica
History
EurAmerica, formerly American Studies, is an academic journal published by the Institute of European and American Studies, Academia Sinica. The journal was renamed to EurAmerica since Volume 21, Issue 3 (September 1991) in conjunction with the Institute’s renaming to the Institute of European and American Studies.
Mission
EurAmerica is dedicated to publishing high-quality research articles in the humanities and social sciences related to Europe and America. The journal especially welcomes original essays which are transdisciplinary, cross-regional, and comparative, as well as response articles to papers published by us.
Peer Review Standards
The journal employs a double-blind peer review process: manuscripts are initially reviewed by a field-specific editor, followed by evaluations from at least two expert reviewers. The final decision is made by the editorial board, composed of experts from different disciplines.
Recognition
EurAmerica is ranked as a tier 1 multi-disciplinary journal in the humanities and social sciences category by the National Science and Technology Council, and it is also the only journal concurrently indexed in both the Taiwan Humanities Core Index (THCI) and the Taiwan Social Sciences Core Index (TSSCI).
Published by the Institute of European and American Studies, Academia Sinica,
EurAmerica is state-funded and charges no fees (including submission and publication fees). The review and editorial process is free from any conflicts of interest, ensuring a commitment to academic excellence.
Open Access
