NDDS / Rapid ILL / DDS

1. When IEAS patrons do not find books or papers in libraries of Academic Sinica, please use the NDDS service via the IEAS Librarian to request them from other libraries.

2. IEAS patrons must request a NDDS account.  

  • Photocopies
    • First, please search Academia Sinica Library Catalog to ensure that the journals you want are not in the libraries of Academia Sinica. 
    • Second, please search Union List of Serials to find out which library in Taiwan has the journals, then click the library name, and fill in the form to  place your NDDS requests.
    • IEAS patrons can also login to the NDDS account to fill in the form to place your NDDS requests.
    • Finally, if the journals you want are not available in Taiwan, please email the journals information to the IEAS ILL librarian.
       
  • Book Loan
    • First, please search Academia Sinica Library Catalog to ensure that the books you want are not in the libraries of Academis Sinica. 
    • Second, please search NBINet or MetaCat to find out which library in Taiwan has the books, then click the library name, and fill in the form to place your NDDS requests. 
    • IEAS patrons can also login to the NDDS account to fill in the form to place your NDDS requests.
    • Finally, if the books you want are not available in Taiwan, please email books information the IEAS ILL librarian.
